The March of the Living is an international, educational program that brings Jewish teens from all over the world to Poland on Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Memorial Day, to march from Auschwitz to Birkenau, and then to Israel to observe Yom Ha’zikaron, Israel Memorial Day, and Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel Independence Day. On the March of the Living, you will travel with individuals from all over the world to Poland and Israel in order to study the history of the Holocaust and to examine the roots of prejudice, intolerance, and hate. Visit the March of the Living’s Western Region site below.
Starting July 1, 2021, the San Diego Jewish Teen Initiative will be transitioning under the new direction of the Jewish Federation of San Diego County. If you have any questions regarding community partners, grants, or offerings, please reach out to Molly Okun, Donor Engagement Manager.
