The StandWithUs Leventhal High School Internship is a year-long internship for high school juniors and seniors. The goal of the program is to prepare students, who are already passionate about Israel, to be leaders for Israel in their current communities and on their future college campuses. Students are flown to Los Angeles for training conferences, where they hear from experts in Israel education. They are mentored throughout the year in Israel education and leadership tools, as they plan and run Israel educational programs for their peers via different social and academic outlets. They are starting Israel clubs in their schools, but most importantly, they become part of an international network of teens all committed to Israel education and fighting antisemitism. For more information about the program, check out our website at: https://www.standwithus.com/hs-internship.
We are looking for a diverse group of juniors and seniors in high school around the US and Canada who are motivated, passionate about Israel, articulate, already leaders in their community, and charismatic. It is highly recommended that they have been to Israel before.
Once a student is nominated for the program, we will immediately send out an application. The High School Coordinators will review the applications and interview the best applicants in a video call. After the interviews, the teens will be notified if they have been accepted by the end of March.
If you are an educator and would like to nominate a student, please fill out this form.
